In our series on real life vampires, we have taken you all across the world and different eras of human culture. In our fifth chapter, we plant the roots of our terrifying tales firmly in Europe, and focus on those who got a sexual thrill off of feeding on the blood and flesh of their fellow man. Some call them perverts, cannibals, ghouls or fiends. But we like to call them… bloodsucking freaks.

Case #1: The Vampire of Dusseldorf - Peter Kurten was a sexual sadist who got his thrills from the vital fluids of others. He would do anything he could to satiate his bloodlust as he stalked the streets of Dusseldorf, Germany. (P. Kurten, Germany)

Case #2: The Vampire of Nuremberg - Kuno Hoffman's condition of being deaf and mute didn't stop him from breaking into morgue's and graveyards to commit acts of necrophilia and cannibalism. He would attempt to conduct black magic rituals using the blood of the innocent. (K. Hoffman, Germany)

Case #3: The Gentleman Vampire - Neville Heath fancied himself an aristocrat, using a variety of aliases to garner favor and charm the ladies of England. Some of which would never be heard from again. (N. Heath, England)

Love is one of the most exhilarating, confusing and emotionally charged sensations that a person could ever experience. The magnetic pull between two people is something man has been trying to encapsulate in poems, books, painting and songs since the beginning of time and frankly, about the ways of love we truly are none the wiser. What we do know mostly through hind sight is that every now and then two souls filled with the same lethal dosage of emotional disfunction, erotic desire and deviant outlet for raging endorphins will collide and quickly a fantastic fairy-tale can morph into a true crime horror story.

Case #1: The Ken and Barbie Killers - Paul Bernado was a sadistic pervert known as the Scarborough Rapist, but when he met Karla Homolka his twisted desires morphed from rape into murder and she would support him every step of the way, starting with her own little sister. Case #2: Death on the Moors - When Ian Brady met Myra Hindley, he knew he could manipulate her to be his accomplice in a series of brutal rapes and murders of children on England's Saddleworth Moor. But how many bodies really are buried out there in the Moor? (I. Brady & M. Hindley, England)

They say a boy’s best friend is his mother. Well the weird ones do at least, and perhaps there are none weirder than the subject of our story today. While the neighborhood kids were out playing tag, he was pretending to asphyxiate in the gas chamber or be electrocuted to death… Instead of playing with GI Joes or wrestle buddies, this boy would cut the heads off of his sister’s dolls and pretend to watch their non-existent blood drain onto the living room carpet as a part of juvenile pseudo black magic rituals... This odd little boy would grow up into a hulk of a man, and he would smash his way into the nightmares of college students in Northern California and beyond after word of his atrocious acts spread like wildfire.

This is the story of the Co-Ed Killer…. Edmund Kemper….

Demographically speaking, children form part of the vulnerable sector of society. That is most likely why that when a child commits a murder in a violent, unprovoked and sadistic manner, our logic struggles to digest the phenomena. In today’s episode, I want to share with you three such stories. These cases are so nightmarish that they will most likely linger in your mind long after the end of the show. So kick back, relax, get out your pepsi and your box of stridex and let me tell you about some of the worst murders committed by children the world has ever seen. The are killer kids, terrifying teens and children with chilling intent.

Case #1: The Toddler on The Train Tracks - James Bulger was a two year old boy who went missing while shopping with his mom. His mangled body would be found on the local train tracks, and sadly what happened to him before his death might not have been as shocking as who were the perpetrators of the crime. (J. Venables & R. Welcome to True Crime Horror Story’s own Hell’s Kitchen. I’m your chef, JD Horror and today we have something really special for you on the menu. As you’ve probably guessed, we are still on the theme of cannibalism. During the last episode we explored all the different forms of cannibalism, but in today’s show there will be no confusion about whether these eaters of fellow men were doing it out of a survival instinct or whether a mental illness drove them into a feeding frenzy.
