Gabi Abrão grew up with a Brazilian father who believes everything in the physical world is connected to the spiritual. When Gabi and her sister would lose a toy, he taught them to call upon a deity that commands "the souls of the spirit children" for help finding the item. In high school, she had a health teacher who secretly did psychic experiments with the students. She has a lot of strange stories from her unusual childhood and eccentric father but the real reason I wanted to talk to her was about something that happened very recently involving Astral Projection. Gabi started experiencing this as an adult, and after having a very vivid and specific astral projection journey, she ended up meeting somebody who had been to the same place. A man named Alex had a prolonged and terrifying encounter with what he believes to be Bigfoot. But this story is very different from what most of us are probably used to when we think of the infamous Cryptid, and it raises questions about what Bigfoot could possibly be. During the Covid-19 lockdown, Alex needed an escape and decided to go camping in the Uwharrie National Forest by himself. The park was closed and off-limits, but he found a very isolated spot and hiked in all by himself to set up camp. Upon entering the woods, he described an electric static feeling coming over his body—a sense of crossing over a veil—and started to experience what can only be described as telepathic impressions. Over the course of the day and night, Alex experienced a series of bizarre and terrifying events that left him confused and traumatized. Only later, after researching what happened to him, did he learn that these things are all connected to the sightings of Bigfoot. During his childhood, Alec experienced a peculiar phenomenon where he would find himself outside of his own body at night. Upon awakening, he would observe his sleeping form before embarking on a journey to explore his own home. Initially, this activity was enjoyable, but he was apprehensive about entering a specific area downstairs, sensing an ominous presence beckoning him toward it. Eventually, he mustered the courage to venture into that area, only to be tormented by an entity for several hours, a haunting experience that persisted into his teenage years. Alec now believes the entity that tormented him in his childhood was The Night Hag or The Old Hag. This is a supernatural creature that shows up in almost every country and culture around the world, going back very far into history. Terra sees a pyramid-shaped UFO above her swing set in Tucson Arizona. It may have been a vision, a dream, or real life.
