Thank Jason It's Friday! Gena & Patrick are raising the dead once again, but this time with special guest, TV bigwig Chris Donovan (@seedonovan) in tow. In this episode, we talk about Pavlov's orgasm, the difficulty of escape while wearing bear footie slippers, the moment Jason Lives goes full Star Trek, and "the most bouncy sex" in the entire Friday the 13th canon. Plus, we connect the "art" of Rob Liefeld to Jason Voorhees and have a rebellious game of "Choose Your Own Death-venture" as we cut through a swath of counselors on our way to the Part 6 finale. It’s “a messy act” but Kill By Kill is all-new! We’re deep in the heart of Friday the 13th Part 6: Jason Lives and Patrick & Gena bring comedian Adam Peacock (host of the My Neighbors Are Dead podcast) to talk about three minor characters with major issues. In this episode, we consider racist trail marker lesson plans, decide what to name our favorite alcoholic beverages, announce Jason Voorhees as the latest Harlem Globetrotter, and attempt to unpack two of the most insane costuming choices ever presented on film. Plus, we make terrible day camp plans for “Jeremy” and play a superb round of Choose Your Own Deathventure. Also, there’s a weird echo that floats around the audio at points. As Rodney points out, “A friend helps you move, a good friend helps you move a body… what kind of friend helps you dig up a body?” In addition, we discuss the power of lightning vs. supernatural lightning, we chase mid-80s suspender trends, openly wonder if Jason’s powers make him an X-Man, and finally, we attempt to pin a “double indemnity” style murder rap on the director.
