After being struck by the rockfall, May now lies 28 meters below the surface, trapped by debris and unable to move. With dangerously low levels of oxygen, it is up to Drew to fight for her sister’s life. She must put her own life in jeopardy and risk paying the ultimate sacrifice. But with no help in sight, time is quickly running out…
Directed by Maximilian Erlenwein (Stereo), he co-wrote THE DIVE with Joachim Hedén (Breaking Surface). The film stars Louisa Krause (“Billions”) and Sophie Lowe (Medieval).

This week we have a look at the 1979 film WHEN A STRANGER CALLS. This is Episode #409! When a Stranger Calls is a 1979 American psychological thriller film written and directed by Fred Walton, co-written by Steve Feke, and starring Charles Durning, Carol Kane, Colleen Dewhurst and Tony Beckley. Its plot follows Jill Johnson, a young woman terrorized by a psychopathic killer while babysitting, the killer's subsequent stalking of another woman, and his return to torment Jill years later and also the detective trying to track him down. Rachel Roberts, Ron O'Neal, Carmen Argenziano, and Rutanya Alda appear in supporting roles. The film derives its story from the folk legend of "the babysitter and the man upstairs".

Based on a single chilling chapter from Bram Stoker’s classic novel Dracula, The Last Voyage of the Demeter tells the terrifying story of the merchant ship Demeter, which was chartered to carry private cargo—fifty unmarked wooden crates—from Carpathia to London. Strange events befall the doomed crew as they attempt to survive the ocean voyage, stalked each night by a merciless presence onboard the ship. From DreamWorks Pictures and the producers of Zodiac and Black Swan, The Last Voyage of the Demeter is directed by Norwegian horror virtuoso André Øvredal (Scary Stories To Tell in the Dark, Trollhunter), from a script by Bragi F. Schut (Escape Room), Stefan Ruzowitzky (The Counterfeiters) and Zak Olkewicz (the upcoming Bullet Train), based on the chapter “The Captain’s Log” of Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Tonight we’re chatting with Mary Gallagher, director of the new film Holistay, new from Breaking Glass Pictures on VOD/Digital. Holistay, which lensed in Vegas, follows two couples - Finn and Branna from Ireland and Tony and Gia from New York. They do not know each other until they double book a vacation house in San Diego. Unable to reach the owners, the couples decide to all stay at the house since decent lodging is scarce that weekend. They find they all get along although one couple harbors a dark secret.“I am honored to be chosen by Breaking Glass Pictures for worldwide distribution and be able to present my work on the global stage,” said Mary Gallagher, who makes her directing debut on the film. “It is important for women filmmakers to be able to successfully tap into the horror and thriller genre and create a larger presence in this medium.”
