Valeria works at a laboratory in the Soviet Union in 1984 that studies parapsychological phenomena. Her former lover, Nazım, invites her to Turkey to investigate a mysterious case. Valeria goes to Nalbant Village in Azdavay to investigate Nazife Hanım, whom the locals call "Cinli Nazife," and soon begins her research there. However, Valeria suddenly disappears.
