Content Warnings
An icicle goes through a worker's head, killing him. Description of blood and damage to the cranium. Throughout, there is a general monster threat and pursuit. The player is hunted and chased by a relentless monster. Dark, claustrophobic environments, corpses on beds, bones and carcasses, and a general air of dread. Unethical human experimentation, including soul-binding, experimentation on living creatures, and pursuit of immortality through morally questionable means. The story deals with death and bodily transformation and flowers growing out of corpses and environmental rot. One of the mother’s letters refers to the father hitting her for the first time. Neglect of a sick child by the parents, a terminal disease, and an ambiguous ending that leaves the player wondering if they were helpful or harmful.
