Echoed Memories is a dark psychological love story, with character development, understanding and acceptance at its core. It holds a balance of bright and cheerful to emotional and depressing, and follows the protagonists as they come to terms with their traumas.
Content Warnings
The main game deals with topics of trauma, despair, trust issues, and depression. These are all background elements within the plot. There are a series of Epilogue quests after completion, which are marked in-game with a content warning as stand-alone stories, and contain references to intimate behaviours, minimal nudity and 30 seconds of heavily tame passionate hugging. The game now has a SafeForWork "SFW" option which can be selected at any time to toggle off most lewd content.
