Austria, 1902. Friedrich Heine receives a letter from his old university roommate, Kasimir Kohl, asking for help with his sister, Cybele, who has gone mad. Heine is a student of Sigmund Freud, and Kasimir hopes the new medicine of psychotherapy can help Cybele. But after arriving, Friedrich discovers that there is more madness behind the scenes in the old gothic castle. He and Cybele must contend with a cabal known as 'The Brotherhood of the Ourboros', which includes a young inductee, Adolf Hitler. Will Friedrich and Cybele escape the castle with their lives, or will they become prisoners and pawns in Hitler's scheme to build a master race?
