And that's what, Ronnie Lang, freelance writer and investigator, realizes when she embarks on a journey to find out who put Amy, who happens to be her goddaughter, in the hospital, in a coma. Why was the girl found lying in the road with a gun in her hand? Why is the girl accused of killing Jonathan Blake, the new owner of the Gleneven Hotel? Ronnie, also learns that people aren't always who they seem to be. The journey to find answers to these questions leads her in to dangers she never expected.
