Someone in town is killing cat shifters. Gato Wilfawn, owner of a new age shop called The Season of the Witch, is a seer as well as a shapeshifter. She's on a quest to bring down a murderer. When Chordata Shan enters her shop, the sparks as well as the fur flies. He's one hot, sexy cop on the trail of the same elusive killer as Gato. He's come to have her check her crystal ball for clues to aid him in his search. The problem? She can't since the darned thing is on the fritz. They must team up to solve the case. Then Cord disappears, leaving Gato wondering just what he's really doing in her town.
