Stranger Nations of the Otherworld is an urban fantasy with strong science fiction content. Its premise is that highly evolved ‘alien’ races, some more or less humanoid, some not, have lived alongside humanity throughout its history. Sometimes they have gotten involved with the human race but for the most part, they’ve kept themselves and their activities off the radar. The background for the novel includes many elements borrowed from the cthulhu mythos of H.P.Lovecraft, but this is not a ‘mythos’ novel. What is it? Well, it’s a mystery/detective story, a love story, a fanciful treatise on the elusive nature of time. It’s mindboggling at times, at others disarmingly straightforward. The characters are full-bodied, three dimensional and their feelings are poignantly evoked as events unravel against the backdrop of otherwordliness.
