With animal attacks on the rise, Landon and his dog Rufus have been hired by the Pennsylvania Game Commission to scout for large predators. When Rufus starts acting out of character, Landon quickly realizes that this is no ordinary night. A peaceful hike turns into a fight for survival as a new predator on the food chain reveals itself. Landon sets out to find peace on the trail, but now ends up fighting a threat that no one knew existed.
