With the Golden Queen and her appointed High King destroyed, Kana and her twin sister Leana have finally found the family they both have only dreamed about. Together with the help of that new family, they saved their brothers and sisters from what would be a short, excruciating life of slavery. Their new found world has provided them with the stability as well as protection that their own birth mother so painfully denied them. Not only have their lives changed, so have those who reached out to them. Deana, Rayla and Tola, amongst others, have laid down their lives to help these brave Dulvar souls, all for the procurement of true peace. Five years have passed since their liberation and the twins, along with most of their siblings, have reached adulthood. Although a Dulvar's growth rate is a bit accelerated from that of their Brevian family, their desires for love, friendship and of course romance are very much the same. The twins find themselves blending in with the forest folk and of course that includes a bit of mischief and lawbreaking too. Their families have been extremely supportive of their wants and needs and have even built them their own cottages to prove their true acceptance into the Forest Village. Their days of fighting for freedom and for the right to live are finally over, or are they? One calm, peaceful day Kana was out enjoying a family excursion in the Solemn Forest when she heard what sounded like a cry for help. As she tried to show kindness and compassion to an unknown boy, whose skin blends with his surroundings, she was maliciously attacked with her own stolen sword. She chased the youngling only to discover that he is a hired assassin, sent to kill her and the Dulvar Spirits living in the forest. This unseen enemy had escaped but not before poisoning Kana. These so-called Shadow Beings have ultimately declared war on the Dulvar as well as the Brevian races. Who were these people and why are they determined to eliminate two entire races of beings? Who sent them and what kind of power does this new menace possess? The Forest Villagers, along with Kana and Leana, were determined to find out. The only question is…..can Kana and Leana’s power, instilled in them by the Superus himself, be enough to save them and their loved ones from this unseen enemy?
