A Love in Darkness

When Cindy Brewster is returned to her evil parents, her foster care social worker, Sharon, begins to despair. She falls in love with a strange man, Laif, who can force people to face the truth. After Sharon’s pleas to the court are ignored, Laif uses his ability on Cindy’s parents. But they are psychic as well and resist him. Laif senses that Cindy will help millions of people as she grows older. But every moment that Cindy is with her parents, she moves closer towards evil. They seek help in the Santa Ana Mountains from Laif’s mentor, Creo. He advises them to look inside themselves to save Cindy. What could be inside themselves that is so important? Unless they find out, Cindy will be lost forever.

Dean Henryson is the author of the award-winning horror book, Fierce Peace. He was born and raised in California. He provides counseling to families and children in Los Angeles County. He also worked as a foster care social worker for many years, becoming inspired to write of the struggles of good and evil.
