The Reaping Of Righteous Souls

Dan Collins has come face to face with death on many occasions. That is the nature of his profession. Being a hired thug for Jack Lawson, a notorious mob boss in the city of Waycross, his life is continuously in peril. It is a way of life he has grown accustomed to, and, by God, he's good at it. But recently he’s had an epiphany. He's decided to give it all up. But before that can happen, he must face death once more. Literally. He is approached by a dark natured man named Delano, who calls himself a Reaper— one of a legion of "harvesters" in the employ the "Creator." Delano’s time as a Reaper is drawing near to the end and he needs to pass the “gift” on to someone that is worthy of it. Delano believes Dan’s the one to replace him as a soldier of Death when Dan unwittingly saves the life of a little girl Delano was attempting to "reap." This leaves Delano in a titanic quandary. If Dan doesn’t accept this gift, the power to harvest and store righteous souls,the true source of the Creator's power, will become Satan’s, and mankind will be lost…
