It began as a revolutionary expedition to explore the rich geological history of Antarctica. The weather was less than favorable, but the potential payoff was far too intriguing to dissuade these scientifically minded gentlemen. The preparations being made, everything was going just as well as they could have hoped. But things take a curious turn when the remains of a creatures entirely unknown for millions of years are discovered. The scientific implications are huge, but the parallels to ancient myths of the Necronomicon are disturbing, if not terrifying. The expedition will make these men go down in history, but certainly not in ways that they could have ever expected.
