With time off from work and a stroke of good fortune in landing the keys to a cabin for the next few days, Ian and Shelly embark on a long awaited trip up to rural Maryland. As their two little pups, Flea and Tick, join the couple on this snowy adventure, the drive turns out to be a little different than planned, as does the cabin, which is not quite what they expected. While the couple try to deal with the growing snow storm outside, they soon find that this wonderful winter weekend is turning into anything but a vacation.
