One might be led to believe that Buddha is a pretty nice god. He sits there with a complacent half-grin offering peace to the world, right? Well, not today, and not in the world of Gantz. Or maybe it's just that the statues at one of Tokyo's oldest temples just happen to be inhabited by yet another species of alien being hunted by the humanoid-powered orb known as Gantz. In Volume 6, readers got to see just how ferocious alien Buddha statues can be, and the battle continues in Volume 7. And when we say vicious, we mean all kinds of body parts and blood flying in every direction. It doesn't look like any of Gantz's draftees will make it out of this battle alive!
