This book is a compilation of stories written by Jaelynn Mathiowetz and her 5th and 6th grade classmates in Miss Heintz’s room during the 2021-2022 school year. The first story was written during the month of November for National Novel Writing Month. The final section of the book includes some of the circular stories written by the class on Fridays.Eleanor, who is fourteen and her younger sister, Lillian who is also fourteen just nine months younger went to a camp called “blue lake,” but a little incident occurs and the children (12–15-year old’s) are left unattended, with no adults watching them. Lillian gets injured and needs medical help, but they are trapped in summer camp and get too afraid they will get in trouble if they go and ask for help. Who will be brave enough to save Lillian?
