Faith and Joseph Wannamaker were married for forty-nine years. On what would have been their 49th wedding anniversary, Faith died. A year later, Faith has returned to her husband in ghostly form with a single goal in mind. Her task is to break her husband's heart with the truth about their lives in order to free him from his spiritual cage of anger and fear so that he might learn to love God and join her in heaven. At stake: Faith cannot tell her husband this, but if she fails at her goal, the two of them will spend all of eternity in the Hell they have created for themselves. Will Faith succeed? Will Joseph fall prey to his fears and believe that her apparition is nothing more than a senile hallucination? Or will his wife's confessions break open his heart just wide enough to let God in so that they each might receive forgiveness?
