Stone Mountain Kennedy was a respected New York lawyer, driven by his career. Because of his brusque personality and ruthless courtroom methods, he provoked loathing and dread among those who faced him in the courtroom. The influential Empire Power Corporation had wrangled government approval to flood pristine mountain valleys in South Carolina in order to build a nuclear power facility. Kennedy was tapped as CEO to execute this project. The only personal obsession in Stone Mountain Kennedy’s life was an insatiable appetite for Indian relics. Most of his childhood was spent roaming the woodlands of northern Georgia in search of arrowheads and artifacts. As CEO of Empire Power, his new job in the Dark Corner of South Carolina and his preoccupation with Indian relics would place him in mortal conflict with Indian spirits bent on stopping the obliteration of their cherished hunting lands and burial grounds.
