Melissa Bond lives in West Texas, where the land is flat, and the sunsets are spectacular. She is a passionate advocate for raising standards in medical care, fueled by watching her mother and grandmother fight cancer, and her own fight against Multiple Sclerosis. To escape the cruel reality our bodies are fallible, Bond has created worlds of fantasy, intrigue, and dramatic suspense. When she is not writing, she is an active artist and photographer, as well as a miniaturist. Her confessed hobbies include being a bibliophile, film geek, genealogy buff, world traveler, second language acquisition conqueror, and wannabe bakery owner.
