The Haunting on X Avenue (The Grande Ronde Hauntings)

This is a fictional horror story set in the logging town of La Grande, Oregon. It is inspired by an actual haunted house and eyewitness descriptions of the spirits within. Johnathan Campbell comes to town on a regular family visit. But for some reason, he decides that he wants to investigate his mother's haunted childhood home. What can an amateur ghost hunter accomplish on his first investigation? What could possibly go wrong?

About the Author

Joshua Kimball was born in the American Pacific Northwest. He grew up in a small logging and farming town in the Blue Mountains with the freedom to strap a fishing pole to his bicycle and ride to the nearest river to fish for trout when he didn't have his nose in a book. Joshua was introduced to C. S. Lewis, Tolkien, and the Arthurian legends in grade school. He then moved on to Viking Lore, Anne McCaffrey, & Terry Brooks from middle-school to the present. Then David and Leigh Eddings ruined his comparative standard for other books in high-school. Currently, Joshua waits in anticipation for the latest works of Jim Butcher and Patricia Briggs.
