Men, Djinn and Angels - Awakening is the first of a multi-part series.  This soft cover, 266 page novel is a paranormal fiction that flirts with adventure and fantasy. With a backdrop of a growing secret society, Kate and Fiona, two seeming innocent girls who study the occult sciences, meet Talib, a sixteen year old boy, escapes from the Middle East terrors and challenges himself with a quest for discovery.  Haunted by his dreams, he is guided by Kate, the older sister, who helps him find his way, allowing him to discover, to his dismay, an unsuspecting and terrifying truth about himself.

Talib, a sixteen-year-old Palestinian, miraculously survives the Cave of the Patriarchs Massacre, a travesty that kills his father. Escaping the conflict in the Middle East, Talib is offered solace in the luxury of a wealthy family's mansion home where he meets two enigmatic sisters, Kate and Fiona. Despite their beauty, innocence and sophistication, these sisters are not at all what Talib imagined. Their occult practices and devotion to a mission handed down to them by The Enlightened Titans, a fraternal secret society, throws Talib into a conflict between his Islamic upbringing and the cosmological possibility that there is more to the universe than what a religious text offers. If this is not enough, Talib learns that he has more to offer, and the two sisters may take it unless he volunteers it.

About the Author

Anton D. Morris is a self-published author from the Chicagoland area.  He is a former teacher and athletic coach who enjoys mentoring adolescents and contributing to their educational success.  He is a father of four, lives with his wife and children in the Las Vegas area.  He was challenged by his daughter to write a novel and after accepting the challenge created a multi-part series titled, Men, Djinn and Angels, the first of witch, Awakening was published in December, 2017.  The second part Initiation, is scheduled for release in early December 2018.  He loves to write, play the stock market and manage his family's Happy Tax franchise.
