The night air is crisp as Matt walks to the grocery allowing the cool Albuquerque air to refresh him after a long day at work. Turning down the next street he noticed that most of the streetlights had burnt out leaving the street in shadow. Matt stumbles almost landing on his knees before regaining his balance. As his eyes adjust to the darkness Matt realizes he has stumbled over a body. On closer examination, he comes to realize that pieces of the body are missing, and he is standing in the dead man’s blood. A horrified Matt reaches for his phone and with shaking hands he dials the police.That night Matt tries to sleep, but his brain will not stop playing the events of the day over and over. He turns to his fiancée, Rebecca, to tell her what happened all the while regretting that he must share this burden with her. Later the same night Rebecca is attacked by something that could only be described as unnatural. The couple learns of similar attacks happening throughout the city and must decide whether to hide from the evil that is taking over the city or face it. How does one face an evil intent on annihilating the populous when it lurks in complete darkness?
