Azar is a demon who thrives on making deals with humans. The human gets what they want, for a price...Azar has a unlikely friend, an archangel named Feathery. Despite being on opposing sides, the two occasionally team up. Azar is out patrolling to find humans desiring a deal when he comes across a young boy being abused. The demon rescues him and raises him as his own. When the boy turns out to be a wizard, Azar must team up with Feathery to raise the boy right.
