A young couple with a stubborn old Basset Hound live in an unassuming apartment building situated on the edge of the Nevada desert. The complex is a forgotten project resulting from the former housing boom and bust that the Silver State suffered in such extremes. Jim and Penelope now weather through the oddities and irritations of other residents that live in Building 6. But the price of living in the dilapidated yet affordable housing proves to be costly. When a strange illness strikes Jim, Penelope becomes aware that something more sinister may be lurking. The birth of unthinkable creatures that devour flesh escapes all that are directly involved. Unable to see what secretive experiments are taking place right in plain sight becomes devastating to all that live in Building 6.
