INVISIBLE MAN An invisible mad man hides in plain sight. He must retrieve secret notebooks containing a miraculous formula to reverse the process. Albino scientist JACK GRIFFIN must live in the personal hell created by his own experiments. Using himself as a subject, he discovers the secret to invisibility but can’t reverse the process. Jack robs a boarding house to fund his disastrous invisibility experiments. His father commits suicide from the shame of having a thief for a son. Jack becomes invisible then terrorizes a small town after a drug experiment goes wrong. He hides out at the 'Coach and Horses Inn' dressed in heavy clothes and bandages to conceal his identity. While escaping angry townspeople, Jack’s notebooks and formula are stolen by a bum he meets named THOMAS MARVEL. By the time Jack confides in an old college friend DR. KEMP-- it’s too late. An addiction to drinking Strychnine and guilt over his father's death have turned him into a homicidal maniac. (FINAL IRONIC TWIST ADDED.) Thomas Marvel repairs Jack’s machinery, uses the formula and becomes a victim of his own greed.
