Once every two years, the portal, an Inter dimensional gateway reopens to let evil incarnate enter our world. In defence are John and Sarah, husband and wife and also Soul twins. Two years previous they stood defiant over one of Satan’s twelve disciples and triumphed. However now, two years on their talents are called upon again, for on the very eve the gateway is due to open John and Sarah are taking the fight to the other side! As one of the duo races back to Manchester to the site of the original portal the other one crosses over to a world that no mortal has ever returned from. Whilst they both battle against the odds, members of a ‘specialist’ team are enlisted to assist in what should be a routine mission, but soon become outnumbered and over-run. Ex-marine, Jefferson struggles to keep the assault team together against an enemy no soldier has ever faced before. It’s either a plan born of madness, destined to fail or an insane plot that against the odds, just might work.
