This short story takes place in a quaint town in Vermont in 1996. An amnesiac wanders into town wearing bloody clothes. Dr. Julia Bridges tries to help him. Her brother, police chief Jonah Reinhold is skeptical and the patient isn't allowed to leave town. A month later, the amnesiac patient's wife and friends track him down. But so does his long-term nemesis, the OSS. It will be a race as to who will get to him first.
