With the approach of Daisy's birthday comes a terrible revelation that threatens to change everything. As Daisy and Megan continue to work their emerging magical abilities, Scott is faced with an increasing sense of being different, a feeling that is not helped by his father's scoffing of his son's desire to become a writer.
