In this urban, supernatural fantasy we follow the lives of Niah Sutherland and the Phillips family as they navigate the ever-changing world around them.Niah Sutherland finds herself feeling trapped working a mundane job, going home to unfulfilling life with her mediocre fiance David. She struggles to find purpose and adventure between taking up deep sea diving with an amateur salvaging crew and juggling her newly found love-affair with Nolan. Her life seems stressful enough until one day she leaves for a salvage off of the coast of Bermuda and nearly dies. Mysteriously, she finds herself washed up on the shore. She tries to go back to her regular life, but something has changed. She has a new-found hunger for raw meat and animalistic instincts. Niah begins to transform into something... otherworldly. Carter Phillips is interviewing for a new job as he tries to pull his family from their ever-continuing rut. The hope of a new life and the ability to provide for his son, the robotics engineering student and his daughter, the diamond-in-the-rough art prodigy begins to look more and more attainable when tragedy befalls their apartment complex. The Phillips family has overcome the innumerous obstacles that life has thrown their way, but will they be able to survive that which has nested on the seventeenth floor?
