High School is hard enough. Now a young man living in a suburb of Toronto, Canada has to deal with magic on top of that. Tragedy has followed this fourteen year for all of his life and while trying to be a normal teenager, his magical abilities suddenly strike and wrecks what he had hoped to have. He learns that there is much more going and that now he has to be part of something bigger than himself. Suddenly he has to handle high school and he has to attend Handhill, an academy dedicated to magic. If that was not enough, there are people and something else that is trying to either capture him or kill him. Either way, his life is just more complicated than trying to pass his science test and hopefully get a girlfriend.
