Following the events of Changeling, Maggie and a very injured Leon are in the wind. The other changelings have run away with Rush only to be abandoned by him inside an enchanted tree just before Rush is captured by the Board of Brothers and put on trial for his use of black magic. There doesn’t seem to be a favorable ending in sight for anyone, but if one person knows how to get his way, it’s Rush Fairchild.
