It started like a simple zombie apocalypse for modern times. An epidemic, a rapid spread, gallons of guts, and a ragtag group of four uninfected teens well-trained on video games and armed with a plethora of sharp objects: a nerd’s intellect, a marksman’s aim, a wanna-be Englishman’s wit, and a hero’s... pointy kitchen appliances. Oh, and one spunky love interest in urgent need of a heroic rescuing. But then the inhumanly fat man with the insatiable pizza craving shows up; and the crazed Chinese admiral leading a fleet of warships; and the shape-shifting winged lady with mysterious motives. Soon our unlikely heroes can no longer enjoy the good, old-fashioned, zombie-slaughtering fun of the apocalypse as they had planned, for the pandemic turns out merely to be the first move in a demonic chess game of cosmic proportions. Our teens must join forces with other unlikely survivors and confront terrifyingly sinister powers not only to save their brains, but to save their very souls.“A rollicking action-horror-comedy about the inevitable end of the world. It rocked so hard I almost fell out of my rocking chair -- I loved it!” -Author's grandma.
