Burning for You (Blackwater)

But something happens inside of me when I meet him. It changes everything I ever thought I knew about who I am. I’m a crafter, which is really just a fancy term for witch. I make things happen. Other crafters can do different things, but fire is my elemental, and so I can change things. It’s too complicated to get into, and I can’t even pretend to understand it, but I’m trying to learn. On top of trying to wrap my head around my newfound powers, I’m trying to understand how this whole catalyst thing works. Ash is my catalyst, the person who ignites my craft. Just when I think things are making sense, I find out there’s someone else who ignites me. Think things can’t get any more complicated? Well, they can. It’s Ash’s brother Theo.
