The Gatekeeper: The Final Secret Tribulation

His story is part myth and his life, part legend . . . History knows him as the gatekeeper of Pontius Pilate and as the man who cannot die. He is Cartaphilus, the ruthless Roman centurion cursed to immortality for his role in the Crucifixion of Christ. He wanders the earth in torturous perpetuity seeking absolution for his terrible crimes and waiting. Waiting for the return of the Son of God. Now, 2,000 years later, Cartaphilus's chance for redemption has come. The fallen angel Lucifer has grown weary of waiting for his earthly reign to begin. He devises a sinister plan to steal ancient powerful relics and enlists the aid of his two most wicked disciples: Azrael, the Reaper of Death; and He Who Follows with Him, Naraka. They will use the otherworldly power of the relics to build Lucifer's unholy offspring, the antichrist, raise him from the depths of Hell and unleash him upon an unsuspecting world. Cartaphilus, the immortal man with nothing but time, must now race the clock to stop Lucifer's diabolical scheme and earn what has eluded him for so long: Salvation for his condemned and pitiful soul.

About the Author

I am a screenwriter, author and writer from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I've always loved writing, but it wasn't until I spent three years as a batboy for the Pittsburgh Pirates in the early 1990s that I truly realized I would rather put words in actor's mouths than have the words come out of mine on camera. When a Pirates promotional commerical was set to start filming at Three Rivers Stadium, the lead actor was nowhere to be found. I was asked to step in. Thus began my extremely brief and lackluster career as an actor in which I appeared in a few commercials, a brief minute on a forgettable television show, a music video and five or so feature-length films including the Oscar winner "The Silence of the Lambs". After honing my less than desirable acting chops, I had an epiphany: I am a better writer than actor and would rather write than recite. So, here I am. I am the screenwriter of the screenplay THE GATEKEEPER and co-screenwriter of the adapted screenplay for the Leah Leonard novel ROAD TO CASABLANCA. My first book, "Relics of God: A Supernatural Guide to Religious Artifacts, Sacred Locations & Holy Souls" has been a huge success and is available on Amazon as well.
