The Deipnon is part of a three day devotional period practiced by Hellenic Greeks each month which is celebrated on the new moon. Deipnon is a collection of poetry brewed from strong emotions of love, hate, fear, sorrow and spirituality and teaches us to honor our roots, our family and our love of life despite the darkness we deal with on a daily basis. There cannot be shadow without the light.
