Legends aren’t just tales to ward off strangers; the sort of ghoulish warning over a few pints at the pub. They are the truth that keep the townsfolk from running to the hills, packed bags trailing behind them. Ten years ago Damien and Rose Lock found out the hard way that legends are better left locked away, told over crackling campfires instead. Having lost their family and friends to the evil Slaughterman one drunken night years ago, when they summoned the legend from his grave, the two never realised that the darkness would cling to their home town of Eldenridge and ultimately their lives forever. Each year the legendary killer would rise and seek his vengeance through bloodshed. The brother and sister have spent the last several years running, hiding; looking over their shoulders for a curse that has stalked them through different towns and many new lives. Enough of hiding, Damien brings his sister and friends back to the town and back to the family home where he is looking to spruce up and sell. Over a weekend of debauchery and good times, painful memories and even more darker things come to be. And the friends learn that once evil is awakened, it has a hard time returning without a little sacrifice...
