Who would have thought an old woman with a one eyed crow could wield such power and create such terror? Nobody in the quiet Welsh town of Penarfon did, and certainly not Dafydd Davies and his gang. So when the crone turned up at Dafydd's granddad's pub demanding compensation for a horse, a horse that had had to be put down because of an accident Dafydd's gang had caused, Dafydd had laughed right along with the rest of the regulars.
