"Joel Goodson embarked on a journey. It started with an ending; an ending that led him step-by-step to an understanding of everything he'd ever wondered about. He had to find most of the way, and most of the answers, himself, but he was helped....even watched over....by a community he never saw, or even understood. Why were they doing this, and what was his own role in the vast and complex web he was being drawn ever-deeper into? The answers were unbelievable, but they fitted together beautifully. It was, though, rubbish being dead"This is my first novel. Its theme occurred to me in that Neverland between wakefulness and sleep, and it all developed from there. Its supernatural theme may not appeal to everybody, but I loved the idea of taking some of life's biggest questions, and boxing them into neat little compartments. Most of the themes are mine, and largely represent what goes on in my head, but I did find that I occasionally hit that writing Nirvana where it seems the characters are writing the whole thing for you.My sincere hope is twofold; that you will read the book, and, if I'm very lucky, you will give me some constructive feedback.
