About the Author

J.L. DAY can usually be found tucked away in another world, reading a book; most likely psychological thrillers. She began reading at a very young age and became an avid reader during junior high. It had been her escape from the anxieties of a teenage girl.  Losing her beloved hobby as a college freshman, she hadn't had the time for it and put it away. She had been the mom of a six year old, struggling with reading comprehension and an utter dislike for it. This had been what changed not only her life, but her daughter's as well. Jamie had been determined to show her daughter just how amazing reading could be, as well as, help her to love it as much as she did.  At that time, she didn't have a favorite genre,  only wanted a well written story to lose herself in. Writing a novel had been on her bucket list but she knew it would be just that, a dream, a conversation point.  She confided in her now college freshman daughter, whom can also be found at most times, with a book in her arms. Only after her daughter had showed such  excitement and continued encouraging her mom, Jamie began to write.   She has just completed her first novel, titled, "Celeste".It is scheduled for publication in the beginning of 2020.  Shocked, as to how much she loved writing, she has decided to write one more. Her second novel, which she says will be her best seller, has just started bleeding ink onto a blank page.
