A woman is found wandering a North Carolina highway covered in blood and trembling in fear. The law enforcement official who found her is unable to obtain any information from her and soon she is transported to the county hospital. Two weeks earlier, a young family moves to the small town of Brontsville NC. What first seems like a pleasant and peaceful setting soon turns into a living nightmare for the family. From zombie-like neighbors, cryptic messages, and windows that seem to have a mind of their own, the family encounters several terrifying experiences before finally deciding to seek help. The family is soon joined by another couple and together they all endure many horrifying ordeals that leave them at the brink on insanity, while desperately trying to unravel the mysteries of Brontsville.
