Due to two childhood traumas, sixteen-year-old Andy suffered memory loss. Unable to distinguish between what are surfacing memories and what are dreams, he insists that his mother gives him answers. As she remains so secretive, Andy becomes even more determined to reach the truth. Andy travels to Cornwall with his girlfriend and her family for a short holiday. While there, Andy is disturbed to find places, including an island monastery, that are familiar to him even though he is led to believe that he has never left his home town. Andy soon discovers that his connection with the monastery goes far deeper than he could ever have imagined.
