It’s official. Buckle up, buttercup. The end of the world is here, and no one’s going to save you. Abandon hope all ye who enter here, blah, blah, blah. You get the idea. This particular flavor of apocalypse is special for me, since with the end of the world, I finally learn which demon has owned my soul since before I was born. I’m marked, you see. Parents sold my soul to get rich.It’s a long story—or maybe not that long. Whatever. Thing is, it ain’t just a demon who owns me. It’s one of the big ones, but he isn’t the only player here. The Greek gods? Real. Angels? Also real. And what’s worse: you can’t trust any of them. Humans are nothing but pawns in this end-of-the-world game. Who am I? I’m just a girl, a girl who can’t die thanks to her mark. To all the Greek gods and biblical freaks who think they can use me to their advantage, I say… bring it on.
