About the Author

Susan Adair Harris began composing poetry as soon as she could write and switched to writing novelettes in middle school to entertain her girlfriends. Her first published novel DEATH LOST DOMINION emerged to extensive praise in 2015 after she left a career that spanned the levels of education and membership on several boards. Vulnerable to surges of enthusiasm, she has recorded audio books for the Library of Congress Talking Books Program, volunteered on a tourist steam train and a rural fire department auxiliary, sold her paintings, wrote screenplays for a Hollywood producer, directed her original children's play, and trained her own horse. She currently resides on a mountain ranch with her family and an assortment of animals-both wild and domestic.
