A story based upon actual events in Saskatchewan, Canada. A pastor learns that a woman he is counseling experienced ritualistic abuse involving bestiality in her past. She brings her abuser to justice, but the pastor is determined to know if there were more involved than her abuser. In his search to find the truth he discovers that he is more vulnerable to temptation than he thought, another woman he befriends finds that mercy and grace is as close as her own breath and both realize the power and love of God.
About the Author
Rev. Phillip Gagnon is an ordained pastor serving St. Albert Evangelical Lutheran Church in St. Albert, Alberta Canada. He is married to his beautiful, intelligent and mostly right about almost everything wife, Patricia and has three adults children busily enjoying their lives while simultaneously driving him crazy as often as they can. He attended Lutheran Theological Seminary from 1993-1997. He was chair of Christian Challenge Ministries, a ministry informing the wider Church about various new religious groups or cults for three years prior to attending seminary. Later, aside from Alberta and Ontario, Canada he spoke in various diverse places on the topic of cults such as Pasadena, Ca., Seoul, South Korea and Aira, in the Wollega province of Ethiopia at the Onesimus Nesib seminary on his book Deliver Us From Evil a manual on exorcism from a Lutheran perspective in 2012. He has also written a manual entitled A Family's Guide to the Cults: Insights from the Lutheran Confessions which he used while teaching at the Canadian Lutheran Bible Institute for nine years instructing two classes on World Religions and New Religious Groups. He is presently writing two smaller works entitled "Church - Give Your Head a Shake!" a collection of rants and "Chasing the Dragon," an ibook describing the dangers of the New Apostolic Reformation in light of an offshoot cult group based upon the theology of the NAR in lower Alberta.
