Hurtubise’s grandmother, a nurse, born in the late 1800s, often mentioned that she believed herself to be part Native American, originating from a northern Maine tribe. Now settled – for the time being – in Maine, Clay has returned to his passion for writing. Never at a loss for words, he put these down on paper.

Clay grew up in Maine, went to college in Wyoming, and then lived in New Hampshire. Now settled, at least temporarily, in Maine, he has returned to his passion for writing.
