A young soldier, Heinrich Barmat is the victim of circumstance as he realizes more than a bullet was aiming to kill him. From the beginning, encounters conspire and alter his path but none so completely as when Heinrich kidnaps a college student returning after his father’s death turning his dusty tomb into a beacon in this dark world.
