Marisa and Lorenzo Conchito and their friends want to make an old-fashioned vampire movie. Luckily their friend Jeff knows just the place to film it. His uncle Felix was an actor in several old horror movies, and his creepy old mansion is the perfect location. Felix is happy to let them film their movie at his house. He has just one rule: “Don’t go in the basement!” What secrets could Felix be hiding in the basement? And why does he sleep so much during the day?

Thomas Kingsley Troupe is the author of a big ol' pile of books for kids. He's written about everything from ghosts to Bigfoot to 3rd grade werewolves. He even wrote a book about dirt. When he's not writing or reading, he investigates the strange and spooky as part of the Twin Cities Paranormal Society. Thomas lives in Woodbury, Minnesota with his two sons.Christian Cornia is a character designer, illustrator, and comic artist from Modena, Italy. He has created artwork for publishers, advertising, and video games. He currently teaches character design at the Scuola Internazionale di Comics of Reggio Emilia. Cornia works digitally but remains a secret lover of the pencil, and he doesn't move without a sketchbook in his bag.
